Meet Our Team
Bobby Quintos
Managing Director 
Bobby is one of two Co-Founders of Delta Offshore Energy, leads all of the design, engineering and construction-related elements of the projects, with a specific focus on LNG, power, and maritime. He heads the USA office in The Woodlands, Texas
Prior to Delta Offshore Energy, Bobby is an established LNG to power originator in Southeast Asia and the Caribbean. As a former top executive for BP, he managed marine operations for seven major oil production platform assets in the Gulf of Mexico with a total value of US$ 8 billion. He also spent two years with BP Iraq as the Business Development Manager for export Infrastructure to support the Iraq Rumaila field production increase from 1 million barrels of oil per day to 3.45 million barrels today generating over US$ 200 billion in revenue for Iraq in the last six years. As BP Asia Pacific Logistics and Infrastructure Manager he was responsible for logistics operations and maintenance for Tangguh LNG Terminal valued at US$ 3 billion.
Bobby has over 35 years as an executive with oil and gas majors and has had several expatriate postings in the Middle East and Southeast Asia. He spent seven years in South Korean major shipyards as lead ABS Surveyor for EPCI new construction of VLCCs, Bulk Carriers, and fifth-generation deepwater drillships as well as authored the ABS Guidelines for Dynamic Positioning Systems. He also spent two years in Corpus Christi, TX for EPCI new construction of oil and gas production platforms for the deepwater Gulf of Mexico. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from SUNY Maritime College, and a Command and Staff Diploma from the postgraduate US Naval War College. He is a decorated war veteran for the US Navy.
Ian Nguyen
Managing Director
Ian is Co-Founder of Delta Offshore Energy is primarily responsible for deal origination as well as stakeholder relations. He heads the Vietnam office in Hanoi.
He has spent over a decade in financial markets in Southeast Asia on both the buy-side and sell-side. As an investment professional he has participated in some of the largest IPOs and equity capital markets deals in Southeast Asia. He has an extensive executive network with investment funds, financial institutions, and publicly listed companies. He has invested in companies across all major industries including infrastructure, construction, oil & gas, mining, plantations, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, real estate, media, telecommunications, financial services, engineering, and more.
Prior to returning to Vietnam, he spent five years in Singapore covering Southeast Asian equity capital markets. Ian was CEO / Executive Director of Cheyne Capital Asia a wholly-owned subsidiary of London based multi-asset strategy and alternative investment manager Cheyne Capital Management LLP. Before Cheyne Capital, Ian was Director for an affiliated company of Belvedere Investment Partners LLP, a UK based hedge fund manager. Before Singapore, Ian started his early career in Vietnam at investment banks including Citibank as well as boutiques firms in both sales & trading and corporate finance roles.
